Norgren Automotive Earns QS-9000/TE Certification

MT. CLEMENS, Mich. - Norgren Automotive today announced its Anchorville,
Mich., Mount Clemens, Mich., and Fraser, Mich. plants have achieved QS-9000
Tooling and Equipment certification.

The TE Supplement provides an interpretation of QS-9000 requirements as
they apply to tooling and equipment-related manufacturers. Achieving this
certification reduces or eliminates the number of on-site quality
assurance audits by customers and ensures overall compliance to industry
standards. Norgren has met more than 250 requirements throughout the
certification process, including an extensive documentation process by the
company's quality team.

"Achieving QS-9000/TE certification is a major milestone in Norgren
Automotive's commitment to strengthening quality and customer
satisfaction," said Guy Potok, president, Norgren Automotive. "Earning
this certification demonstrates our dedication to continually bettering
our process for high-quality, cost-efficient products and systems."

QS9000/TE certification is the quality system standard for all tooling and
equipment suppliers in the automotive industry. It meets supplier
requirements for General Motors, DaimlerChrysler, Ford and other
companies utilizing automotive tooling and equipment.

Norgren Automotive, a subsidiary of IMI plc, offers the industry's
broadest product line of pneumatic components for automotive factory
automation, and is committed to achieving optimum delivery efficiency
while maintaining top quality and safety standards.
