Irwin a native of Indianapolis, Indiana was the driver for the Bell South Mobility Team. Nascar.Com quoted NASCAR president Bill France "We are deeply saddened at today's passing of Kenny Irwin. On behalf of all of us at NASCAR and the entire NASCAR community, our deepest sympathies, all our thoughts and prayers are with Kenny's family, friends and everyone at Team SABCO. Kenny was a fine competitor and will be missed very much by the entire NASCAR community." Witnesses reported that Irwin slammed into the wall just a few feet away from where Adam Petty was killed May 12th. Over the last couple of years The Auto Channel had the great pleasure of meeting and interviewing Kenny. He, like most of the drivers on the NASCAR circuits was a warm, friendly "good" guy. Listed below are a few of the video and audio interviews we did with Kenny. We hope you'll enjoy them and and get to know him a bit better.
