Tier One Automotive Supplier DCT Will Give Away Computers to 361 Employees At Company-Wide Reception July 7
STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. - Tier One automotive supplier DCT will give away Gateway computers to 361 employees on Friday, July 7, during a 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. company-wide reception on the lawn of the company's headquarters, under a tent.The program, announced jointly by DCT and Gateway in late March, includes unlimited AOL Internet access at a very low cost to DCT associates over the next three years.
"We know that to be successful in 2000 and beyond, our associates and company must be leaders in using the Internet and developing e-commerce avenues for doing business," said DCT chief executive officer Bronce Henderson. "Home computers and Internet access will empower our associates to develop computing and Internet skills much more quickly."
DCT, headquartered in Sterling Heights is an ISO 9001-certified supplier of a wide range of manufacturing technologies to the world's automakers, providing welding and assembly systems, automation systems, and laser systems.
In addition to Henderson, DCT president Jeff Moss, DCT marketing manager Mike Bleau and other executives will be available for interviews during the festivities.
DCT is located at 6780 Eighteen and 1/2 Mile Road, one half mile east of Mound Road, in Sterling Heights.
