"It was win, place and show for Honda this month, as the Accord, Civic and Odyssey took the first three spots in this month's top ten list," said Maryann Keller, President of Priceline Auto Services. "The demographic of the Internet shopper strongly corresponds to the younger and more educated buyer that purchases cars from Honda and Toyota."
Adds Keller: "Also of note this month is the disappearance of the Chrysler PT Cruiser from June's top-ten list. It doesn't mean that the vehicle is any less popular. Just the opposite. The vehicle is so popular that dealer inventory hasn't been able to keep pace with consumer demand. We expect the PT Cruiser to return to our best-seller list once inventory catches up."
