Tracks: Mr. Dirt Track USA Title on the line August 10th at Lebanon Valley

7 July 2000

WEST LEBANON, NY - BUDWEISER Beer and Lebanon Valley Speedway proudly bring
you Mr. Dirt Track, USA on Thursday, August 10th. This title race will be 100
laps for the big block modifieds. This is also one of the stops on the
Advance Auto Parts Super Dirt Series. One more thing, the winner will walk
away with SEVENTEEN THOUSAND-FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS!

This event brings in all the top names on the DIRT circuit. Danny and Alan
Johnson, Steve Paine, Tim Fuller and a host of others will invade the high
banks of the Lebanon Valley Speedway on August 10th. They will all be setting
their sights on walking away with all that cold hard cash for winning. Only
one thing stands in their way, THE VALLEY RIDERS. If the invaders think they
can just waltz in a steal the cash without a fight they are sorely mistaken.
They will have to beat the Valley faithful led by the eleven-time champion,
Kenny Tremont. The Emerick Associates #115 has been a powerhouse at the
Valley in recent seasons. Last year Tremont visited victory lane sixteen
times including Mr. Dirt Track, USA.

Tremont is not they only Valley driver to keep a look out for. Rich Ricci Jr,
the 1994 Mr. Dirt Track USA title-holder has climbed behind the potent Gable
Motorsports #1R. Ricci has already found victory lane this season and would
like nothing better than to give car owner, Jody Gable, his first Mr. Dirt
Track, USA victory. Other Valley regulars that could pull off the victory
include John Hewitt who is a master at finishing these extra distance races.
J.R. Heffner and Matt Quinn both have the equipment and the desire to pull
off the big victory.

Also on tap Thursday, August 10th will be the 358 modifieds. Usually fans
only get to see the 358-modifieds at the Race of Kings in September, but this
year they will visit the Valley on several occasions. It is a great show when
some of the future modified stars of tomorrow clash with the seasoned
veterans who hop into 358-mods. It is sort of like when the Winston Cup stars
invade the Busch series.

Call today and reserve a seat for one of the best shows in the northeast. For
more information about this show or any other of our great nights of racing
