LUDWIGSBURG, Germany, July 5 Filtration specialist
MANN+HUMMEL has announced the 100% acquisition, of Federal-Mogul's OIL
CONDITIONING SYSTEMS (OCS) business, the market leader in the field of
centrifugal oil filtration.
This development will greatly enhance MANN+HUMMEL's own innovative
advancements in the technological sector of automotive filtration.
At present, oil centrifuges are used mainly on commercial vehicle and
industrial diesel engines. However, driven by the increase of extended oil

sales of approximately $15 million in 1999, has some 73 employees and
currently offers over 45 different product varieties. MANN+HUMMEL (UK) Ltd.
located near Wolverhampton will administrate all operations of the business.
With 1999 sales of approximately $1.2 billion, the MANN+HUMMEL Group is
organized into two divisions, automotive and industrial. The automotive
division, which serves the OEM, OES and Aftermarket, manufactures components
ranging from air, oil, fuel and cabin filters, to oil modules, fluid
reservoirs, air cleaners, composite intake manifolds, manifold modules and
complete induction systems. With 27 manufacturing/sales locations worldwide,
