Auxer's New Air Conditioning Line Attracts National Wholesale Distributors

Auxer in Discussions for Joint Venture

    WEST PATERSON, N.J. - The Auxer Group, Inc. announced today that its subsidiary, Harvey Westbury's new air conditioning line gained new distribution and recognition with National Wholesale Distributors, a major discount retail chain that competes with Sam's Club, BJ's Wholesale, and Costco.

    The retail chain specializes in high volume retail distribution in aftermarket automotive items as well as other high volume products. Harvey Westbury currently has initial test orders out with several other major retailers and distributors to include Trak Auto and Atlantic Pacific, formerly Ezon. Additionally, the company is in negotiations with a chemical manufacturer to joint venture the Easy Test Kit with the manufacturer's alternative refrigerant to CFC-12 (Freon).

    National Wholesale Distributors has 36 retail warehouses and two (2) distribution centers throughout the Northeast United States. Initial orders to National Wholesale Distributors were shipped in time to be placed on the retail shelves for the Fourth of July Weekend.

    Harvey Westbury recently introduced its new line of Air Conditioning Kits, Chemicals and Accessories for the summer 2000 season. The company has experienced solid growth on all its new kits. As a result of the Clean Air Act, HFC-134a refrigerant continues to grow as the mobile air conditioning and OEM alternative refrigerant of choice replacing CFC-12 (also known by the trade name Freon). This season the Company has introduced a line of Do-It-Yourself Kits, chemicals and accessories geared towards supplying the market and consumers with innovative and inexpensive solutions for Recharging newer cars (post 1994 models) with HFC-134a as well as Retrofitting older cars from CFC-12 to Alternative refrigerants (other than ozone-depleting substances like CFC-12).

    The Company is a holding company which currently owns three (3) active subsidiaries: The Harvey Westbury Corporation Inc., Hardyston Distributors, Inc. and CT Industries, Inc. Harvey Westbury assembles and packages automotive accessories under the name, Easy Test, sells engine treatment under the name, Formula 2000 Ultimate and sells waxes and polishes under the name, Garry's Royal Satin to the automotive, marine, and aviation industries. Hardyston Distributors, Inc. is a specialty distributor of automotive parts and accessories to local mechanics, service stations and dealers.
