Daewoo Sales Up 205% Over First Six Months of 1999

    COMPTON, Calif. - June 2000 sales of 6,402 cars is a 98% sales increase over 
June of 1999.  Daewoo's 2000 year to date sales of 33,549 represents a 205% 
increase over the first six months of 1999.  Retail sales of 6,402 units is 
Daewoo's best sales month since beginning retail operations in the United States.

    Daewoo continues as the "Fastest Growing Car Company in America."
Consumers have embraced Daewoo's complete line-up of high content, value
priced products.  Daewoo's focus on customer care with the industry first
Customer Maintenance Allowance that provides the owner of any Daewoo
automobile up to $1000 in maintenance for the first 3 years or 36 thousand
miles of ownership continues to boost sales.
