Land Rover North America Reports Best Mo. Sales Result so Far in 2000

June Sales of 2,376 Units

    LANHAM, Md. - Land Rover North America, Inc. has posted June sales of 
2,376 units, the company's best monthly sales result so far in calendar year 
2000.  Land Rover sold 12,982 vehicles during the first six months of this year.  
This figure is the company's second best June year-to-date sales result ever.  
Furthermore, Land Rover sold 1,979 units of its Discovery Series II model in 
June for a six-month total of 10,268 units-the best first-half sales figure 
ever for the Discovery Series II model.
