CTS Wireless Components Introduces New, ``Low Height'' WCDMA Ceramic Duplexer
ELKHART, Ind. - CTS Wireless Components, an innovator in wireless cellular handset component technology and a world leader in wireless component manufacturing, today announced that it has incorporated its patented monoblock technology in the design of a new low height Wideband Code Division Multiple Access ceramic duplexer. The new miniaturized duplexer, which is only 2mm high, allows for simultaneous, two-way communication within the WCDMA spread spectrum requirements.WCDMA is the technology used for "3G" or third generation mobile communications. 3G will provide mobile handset users with high-speed access to digital information including: multimedia messaging, video, photos, music, e-commerce and the internet. 3G, with its mobile high-speed data access, coupled with Internet Protocol "IP" based services, is expected to revolutionize the wireless industry.
The new CTS WCDMA duplexer, Model KFF6660A, developed by an experienced design engineering team and supported with high volume CTS manufacturing operations in China, offers handset manufacturers an advanced technology that meets or exceeds next generation industry performance standards in a miniature size. Samples are now available for immediate shipment.
