DaimlerChrysler Corporation Reports U.S. and Canadian Assembly Plant Schedule for Week of July 3, 2000

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - DaimlerChrysler Corporation reports four U.S. assembly 
plants and two Canadian assembly plants will operate the week of July 3, 2000.  In the U.S., Belvidere (IL), Sterling
Heights, Dodge City Complex-Warren Truck, St. Louis North will be on annual 
holiday next week.  In Ontario, Canada, Windsor will be on annual holiday next 
week.

    Conner Ave. will operate one eight-hour shift weekdays.  Jefferson-
North will operate three seven-hour shifts weekdays.  Newark will operate two 
eight-hour shifts weekdays.  St. Louis-South will operate two nine-hour shifts 
weekdays.

    In Ontario, Canada, Bramalea will operate three seven-and-a-half-hour
shifts weekdays.  Pillette will operate two eight-hour shifts weekdays.
