Collins & Aikman to Inaugurate Its Global Headquarters

WHAT:
    Collins & Aikman, a $2 billion automotive supplier, will officially inaugurate its global headquarters located in Troy, Mich. Chairman and CEO, Thomas E. Evans, Oakland County Executive, L. Brooks Patterson and Mayor of Troy, Jeanne Stine will be on-hand to help inaugurate the Company's presence in Oakland County. In addition, Representative Robert Gosselin, Margaret O'Reilly from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and Pat Wierzbicki, Regional Representative for U.S. Senator Spence Abraham will be at the ceremony.

    During the evening reception, guests will have an opportunity to tour the global headquarters, the Exhibit Room and Surface Design Room and will also receive a sneak peek at the Company's latest interior styling concept - ReMyx(TM).

    Thursday, June 29, 2000, 4 p.m. ET with reception immediately following ribbon-cutting ceremony.
