SupplySolution President to Speak at e-Business Workshop

    ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Stephen Bell, president and CEO of SupplySolution, will 
be speaking at the Original Equipment Suppliers Association workshop on Thursday
, June 29, 2000.  This one-day e- business workshop, entitled "B2B - Beyond the 
Hype," will be held at the Somerset Inn, in Troy, Mich., from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

    Bell's comments will focus on the many ways in which automotive suppliers
have dramatically reduced inventory and expedited shipments through the
implementation of e-business initiatives.  SupplySolution provides Internet-
based application services to the automotive supplier community to improve the
design, ordering, inventory management and supplier management processes.
Bell's presentation will draw from his experiences in these areas since he
founded the company in 1998.

    The conference will focus on the benefits of e-business for automotive
suppliers.  Through discussions of actual case studies, speakers from
technology and service provider companies will explain how e-business can
streamline procurement, product development and supply chain integration.

    "This workshop will bring together senior automotive supplier executives
who are ready to explore e-business development for their companies," said
Bell.  "SupplySolution's participation will effectively illustrate the
efficiencies e-business can bring to the automotive supplier industry."

    Created by the Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) in
1998, the OESA addresses business and management issues of automotive original
equipment suppliers.  The OESA's e-business council is hosting the June 29
workshop as part of its goal to provide a forum for e-business executives in
the automotive supplier industry to address B2B issues, recommend solutions
and promote the welfare of the supplier industry.
