Collins & Aikman Names James T. Zajdel Director-Financial Analysis & Special Projects
TROY, Mich. - Collins & Aikman Corporation today announced the appointment of James T. Zajdel as Director of Financial Analysis & Special Projects. In making the announcement, Kenneth J. Arndorfer, Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, reinforced the Company's commitment to attracting dedicated and experienced individuals that will help further strengthen the Company's long-term business strategies.As Director of Financial Analysis & Special Projects, Zajdel will have responsibility for developing and implementing best-in-class methods and systems for the Company's financial and operational analysis function, and providing support in developing budgeting and forecasting systems for the Company's business planning. In addition, Zajdel will be a key participant in the development and execution of Collins & Aikman's e-commerce strategies.

Prior to joining Collins & Aikman, Zajdel was Director of Financial Systems for TRW Automotive. Zajdel earned a bachelor of science degree in business information systems from Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, Penn., and a master's of science in corporate finance from Walsh College in Troy, Mich.
