GE Services Wins DM Review Magazine's 2000 World Class Solution Award

26 June 2000

Prestigious Award Represents One of the Most Strategic Initiatives in the Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and E-Business Industry

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - GE Capital Fleet Services announced today that it has
won DM Review magazine's World Class Solutions Award in the category of
"Business Solutions and Analytic Applications."

GE Capital Fleet Services' award-winning web-based fleet management
application builds stronger customer relationships by leveraging the power of
its fleet information resources via the reach of the Web. The information
delivery system, designed in partnership with MicroStrategy, Inc., gives GE
Capital Fleet Services' customers the ability to tap into a central data
warehouse of fleet information to view/export bills; retrieve personalized,
pre-defined reports; create customized queries; receive broadcast reminders
and more.

This year alone, the application will eliminate more than 600,000 pages of
mailed invoices and reports to customers each month, thereby providing
customers with added productivity to effectively manage their fleets.

"Since 1996, DM Review has presented the World Class Solution Awards to
the leading providers of business intelligence and data warehousing
solutions," said Ron Powell, publisher/editorial director of DM Review.
"These world class solutions demonstrate how technology enables strategic
corporate decision making for competitive advantage."

"We are honored to be selected winner of this prestigious award, and would
like to take this occasion to recognize our customers for our success," said
Marian Powell (no relation to Ron), senior vice president of e-commerce at GE
Capital Fleet Services. "Their input and feedback throughout the development
phase was invaluable. The result is an outstanding application, among the
best in the industry, that helps make our customers more efficient, productive
and empowered than ever before."

GE Capital Fleet Services award-winning application will be featured in
the September 2000 issue of DM Review, a leading monthly technology
publication covering data warehousing, business intelligence and e-business
issues.
