Schwab Named Vice President Human Resources For Textron Fastening SystemsTROY, Mich. - Charles (Chuck) E. Schwab has been named vice president human resources for Textron Fastening Systems. Schwab, 43, will guide the execution of the company's human resources activities including compensation and benefits, training and development, and labor and employee relations. "Chuck's international broad HR experience and understanding of human resource practices will make a significant contribution to the development and execution of our global human resource strategies. I am delighted to have him join our senior management team," said Textron Fastening Systems chairman, president, and chief executive officer Jack Sights. Mr. Schwab most recently served as vice president, international human resources for Kelly Services where he assumed overall responsibilities for the company's human resources function in 19 different countries. Prior to Kelly Services, he spent 13 years in positions of increasing human resource responsibilities for General Electric Company, which included a two-year assignment in Florence, Italy. Mr. Schwab is a magna cum laude graduate of Brigham Young University, located in Provo, Utah and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Washington and Lee University of Law in Lexington, Virginia.
