DataDetroit.com Names Finalists to Their 'Vehicle of the Future' Design Competition

DETROIT - DataDetroit.com, an automotive specific Internet job board, today
named the 15 finalists to the BFGoodrich Tires sponsored "Vehicle of the Future"
Design Contest. The student's names, schools, and cities are available by
following the contest links on the http://www.DataDetroit.com web site.

The finalists include students from the United States and Canada, and
ranging from the Atlantic coast to the Pacific. The 15 finalists will be
presented to a panel of three judges from the automotive industry. Three
winners will be selected at a determination ceremony on June 29, 2000. The
determination ceremony is being hosted by Charley's Crab restaurant
(248-879-2060) in Troy, Michigan.

The judges will score the finalists on concept, practicality, and
presentation. The three winners will be revealed on the http://www.DataDetroit.com
and http://www.CAR-eers.com web sites on July 4, 2000. "It's cool to think of kids
sketching cars on their notebooks just like I did when I was in high school,"
said Tom Feeney, President of DataDetroit.com. "The only difference is their
notebooks are made by IBM where mine were spiral bound."
