ARCA: Kerry Earnhart answers ARCA Pocono call with win

Long Pond, PA, 6-17-00, Kerry Earnhardt, son of seven-time NASCAR
Winston Cup Series champion Dale Earnhardt, made his parents proud
Saturday winning the Pocono ARCA 200 here at Pocono Int'l Raceway.
Earnhardt, in the Teresa Earnhardt Chevrolet, led 55 circuits of 80 laps
to conquer the 2.5-mile triangular superspeedway in only his fourth
start. Swaim, in the Xlerator Pontiac finished second ahead of Dan
Pardus, Ed Berrier (subbing for the injured Shawna Robinson) and Frank
Kimmel the top-five.
