DaimlerChrysler Corporation Reports U.S. and Canadian Assembly Plant Schedule for Week of June 19, 2000

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - DaimlerChrysler Corporation reports eight U.S. 
assembly plants and all three Canadian assembly plants will operate the week of 
June 19, 2000.  Sterling Heights (MI) will not operate normal production shifts 
next week as it prepares to launch the new Chrysler Sebring Sedan and Dodge 
Stratus next month.

    Belvidere (IL) will operate two eight hour shifts weekdays.  Conner Ave.
(MI), will operate one eight-hour shift weekdays.  Dodge City Complex-Warren
Truck (MI) will operate two nine-hour shifts weekdays and two eight-hour
shifts Saturday, June 17.  Jefferson-North (Detroit, MI) will operate three
seven-hour shifts weekdays.  Newark (DE) will operate two eight-hour shifts
weekdays.  St. Louis-North (Fenton, MO) and St. Louis-South (Fenton, MO) will
operate two nine-hour shifts weekdays and two eight-hour shifts Saturday, June
17.  Toledo (OH) will operate two eight-hour shifts weekdays.

    In Ontario, Canada, Bramalea will operate three seven-and-a-half-hour
shifts weekdays.  Windsor will operate three seven-and-a-half hour shifts
weekdays and three seven-and-a-half hour shifts Saturday, June 17.  Pillette
will operate two eight-hour shifts weekdays and one eight-hour shift Saturday,
June 17.
