Jan Nygren will join Saab

    STOCKHOLM, Sweden - Jan Nygren has been appointed Senior Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer of Saab, responsible within the Group for i.a. corporate communications, public affairs and coordination of activities on the Swedish market.

    Jan Nygren's previous activities include periods of State Secretary of the Swedish Ministry of Defence, 1988-1991, and Cabinet Minister 1994-1996, acting as Minister for Coordination in the Prime Ministers's Office. Since 1997 Jan Nygren has been President of Riksbyggen, where previously he has also been marketing director and director of communications.

    Jan Nygren will join Saab on 1 August this year.
