FLINT, Mich. - Jeffrey M. Krause is named business line executive for the

& Chassis Systems headquartered here. Krause had been director of worldwide
venture development for the division since July 1998. Krause reports to Robert

stream, and profit and loss for the product line. Additionally, Krause and
the PLMs serve as the champions of the product teams, the product development
process and program management.

The exhaust and fuel handing & evaporative products business line includes
exhaust modules, catalytic converters, catalysts, fuel modules, tanks,
evaporative canisters and filtration products.

"Jeff has demonstrated outstanding leadership ability as director of
venture development," Remenar said. "He understands the importance of
building strong customer relationships and business alliances and creating
effective networks. Jeff motivates people so they can do their best and
exceed customers' expectations."

During his career Krause has worked in a variety of areas, including
production supervisor, manufacturing planning, labor relations, business
development, investor relations, business planning, philanthropic
administration and venture development. Krause earned a bachelor's degree in
industrial administration from General Motors Institute and an MBA from
