Krause Named Business Line Executive For Delphi Exhaust and Fuel Handing & Evaporative Products BusinessFLINT, Mich. - Jeffrey M. Krause is named business line executive for the exhaust and fuel handling & evaporative products business line for Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems headquartered here. Krause had been director of worldwide venture development for the division since July 1998. Krause reports to Robert J. Remenar, executive director of Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems business lines. Krause succeeds Guy S. Jones, who was BLE for these product lines. Jones recently joined Delphi Thermal Systems as site manager for the Lockport, N.Y., site and BLE for the heating, ventilation and cooling and powertrain cooling products. As a BLE, Krause and the product line managers (PLMs) are responsible for managing: product strategy across the functions, product success, the value stream, and profit and loss for the product line. Additionally, Krause and the PLMs serve as the champions of the product teams, the product development process and program management. The exhaust and fuel handing & evaporative products business line includes exhaust modules, catalytic converters, catalysts, fuel modules, tanks, evaporative canisters and filtration products. "Jeff has demonstrated outstanding leadership ability as director of venture development," Remenar said. "He understands the importance of building strong customer relationships and business alliances and creating effective networks. Jeff motivates people so they can do their best and exceed customers' expectations." During his career Krause has worked in a variety of areas, including production supervisor, manufacturing planning, labor relations, business development, investor relations, business planning, philanthropic administration and venture development. Krause earned a bachelor's degree in industrial administration from General Motors Institute and an MBA from Harvard University. The appointment is effective immediately.
