Catalyst Continues Success With Three New Customers

14 June 2000

Catalyst Signs Three New Customers That Fit Into Vertical Market Strategy, Including a Dot-Com Retailer, Parts Manufacturer and High-Tech Manufacturer

MILWAUKEE - Catalyst International, Inc. , a global supplier of warehouse
management software, today announced the signing of three new customer contracts
that fit into the company's mid-tier and tier-one market strategy. The new
customers include Plews/Edelmann, a division of Stant Corporation, a leading
manufacturer of parts and systems for the original equipment and replacement
automotive, heavy duty and industrial markets. The other two companies, who
asked to remain anonymous for competitive purposes, include a dot-com clothing
retailer and a leading industrial technology company. All three customers
purchased the web-enabled Catalyst WMS Release 8.0.

Plews/Edelmann, a division of Stant Corporation, headquartered in Dixon,
Ill. manufactures automotive parts and distributes them to major retailers and
distributors. They plan to implement WMS Release 8.0 with no modifications to
the standard product in their Dixon, IL warehouse which stores and distributes
raw materials and finished goods. The Catalyst system will interface with
American Software host system and will communicate with Intermec radio
frequency equipment.

"We have aggressive plans to improve customer service through increased
efficiencies in our distribution operations. Catalyst WMS will help us attain
that goal. The Catalyst software is well-suited to help us meet our business
needs," said Bill Wroblewski, Vice President, General Manager of Stant
Corporation.

"Each of these customers chose Catalyst because of the superior fit of our
system to meet their functional needs and because of the web-based technology
our WMS software offers," said Sean McGowan, President and CEO. "It is
critical that companies looking for a WMS examine the customer base of the
prospective vendors. They should only choose a WMS partner who has other
customers in their marketplace and also has a strategy in place for their
specific vertical market. These three new customers fit strategically into
our vertical market categories. Most companies that fall into our key
vertical markets find that our packaged WMS solution closely matches their
functional requirements."

Catalyst WMS Release 8.0 supports Web browsers with dynamic HTML,
providing a rich user interface that is easy to deploy and advances
collaboration by extending the application via the Internet. Release 8.0 is a
true N-Tier architecture that features a web-deployed interface bringing the
power of the Internet to the warehouse.
