Delphi and Ventra Announce Teaming Agreement For Automotive Power Adjustable Pedals

TROY, Mich. - Delphi Automotive Systems and Ventra Group Inc. today
announced that the two companies have signed a teaming agreement that focuses
the technical, production and marketing capabilities of the two companies on
potential new business opportunities in the growing market for power adjustable
automotive pedals.

The announcement was made jointly by James Bertrand, president of Delphi
Interior Systems and vice president of Delphi Automotive Systems, and Kenneth
R. Nichols, chairman and chief executive officer of Ventra Group Inc. The
agreement establishes a relationship for Delphi and Ventra to jointly bid on
programs for both power and conventional pedals.

Power adjustable pedals permit drivers to easily adjust pedal reach to
help increase both comfort and safety. Research shows many drivers of shorter
stature pull their seats forward in order to reach the pedals. Adjustable
pedals help drivers maintain the minimum distance from the airbag and steering
wheel recommended by vehicle manufacturers to help reduce the risk of injury
from a deploying airbag.

"Delphi is extremely fortunate to team-up with a highly reputable company
such as Ventra, with proven technical, production and marketing capabilities,"
said Bertrand. "I have a great deal of confidence that, working together,
Ventra and Delphi will be more competitive on cost, quality and design and
take advantage of the emerging opportunities in this market."

"Ventra is extremely pleased to work with a company like Delphi as they
have tremendous experience in both power product systems and occupant
protection systems," said Nichols. "It is our expectation that demand for
these products is going to increase in the future, and this teaming agreement
positions both companies to take a leadership position."
