Woodward Signs $500 Million Sales Agreement With GE Power Systems

Expands position in growing gas, engine and turbine business
ROCKFORD, Ill. - Woodward Governor Company announced today that it signed a long-term sales agreement with GE Power Systems to supply fuel and combustion control systems and components for GE's family of industrial gas turbines. Over the five-year life of the contract, the value is in excess of $500 million."Woodward has earned this business with GE with their focus on Six Sigma and their resulting ability to meet our cost, quality, and delivery requirements," said GE Power Systems President and CEO Robert Nardelli. "We are very impressed with Woodward's emphasis on customer success."
