Alan B. Bennett Named Director of Sales and Marketing, CTS Reeves Frequency Products
ELKHART, Ind. - Alan B. Bennett has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the CTS Reeves Frequency Products business headquartered in Carlisle, PA.Bennett, who has nearly 20 years of applications engineering, sales engineering and product/sales management experience in the electronics industry, most recently as Director of Sales and Marketing with Amphenol Fiber Optic Products, will be responsible for implementing the sales and marketing activities for all CTS quartz crystal, crystal oscillator and precision oscillator product lines manufactured and sold at CTS facilities in Carlisle, PA; Sandwich, IL; Singapore, Republic of Singapore and Glasgow, Scotland, UK.
Bennett is a 1981 graduate of Cleveland State University where he received his B.S. degree in Engineering. He began his business career with Eaton Corporation as Sales Engineer; and in 1984, joined Teledyne Relays as Sales Engineer with responsibility for developing new OEM accounts, supervising Sales Representative activities for a six-state region and coordinating the activities of Teledyne Distributors.
After career enriching positions with Aromat Corporation (Applications Engineer 1985-1988) and Englehard Corporation (Field Sales Engineer 1988-1991), Bennett accepted the Mid-America Sales Manager's position with CP Clare, and steadily advanced as Director of North American Sales (1993-1996), and Vice President of Sales for the Americas (1996-1998).
In 1998, Bennett joined Amphenol Fiber Optic Products as Director of Sales and Marketing, a position he held until joining CTS Reeves Frequency Products.
Mr. and Mrs. Bennett and family will relocate to the Carlisle, PA area in the near future.
