Chang-Min Sohn Named Sales Manager, CTS Corporation, Korea Branch Sales Office
ELKHART, Ind.--June 5, 2000--CTS Corporation today announced that Chang-Min Sohn has been named Sales Manager of the new CTS Korea Branch Sales Office established in Seoul in February 2000 (see CTS website www.ctscorp.com --Press Releases--February 18, 2000). Sohn will be responsible for serving customers, primarily focusing on CTS' complete line of wireless components for cellular phones, pagers and other mobile wireless devices sold to the wireless communications industry. He brings over 16 years of electronic system design, sales, marketing and design application experience to his new position with CTS.Mr. Sohn is a 1981 graduate of YoungNam University where he received his B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering.
From 1981 to June 1983, Sohn served in the Army ROTC. He began his business career with Samsung Electronics Company as Assistant Manger of VCR R&D. In 1988, he accepted the position of Manager of System Design Group (Kwajang), Texas Instruments Korea, and progressed to Manager of System Design/Application (Chajang). Mr. Sohn accepted the position of Manager of Marketing, LSI Logic, Bujang, in 1995, steadily progressing with the company in the positions of Manager, Sales, Bujang and most recently, and until accepting the CTS position as Manager of Sales, Seoul.
Mr. and Mrs. Sohn have two sons and currently reside in Seoul, Korea.
