Delphi Honored by Subaru-IsuzuTROY, Mich., June 5 Delphi Automotive Systems recently received several quality awards from Subaru-Isuzu Automotive. Delphi's Villeneuve, France, facility received the 1999 Zero Defects Award. The plant supplies generators to Subaru-Isuzu. Several Delphi plants received the 1999 Quality Achievement Award. The award is given to plants that have at least a 99 percent quality rating and at least a 98 percent delivery rating. Subaru-Isuzu gave the award to 55 suppliers, including Delphi plants at the following locations: * Singapore for its powertrain and electronic control modules * Kokomo, Ind., for its airbag control modules * Flint West (Mich.) for fuel filters * Rochester, N.Y., for canisters * Flint East (Mich.) for air meters * Juarez, Mexico, for antilock braking sensors. This is the third consecutive year the ABS plant has received the award from Subaru-Isuzu for two particular models of an ABS discrete sensor. Another Delphi facility in Juarez received the 1999 Supplier Special Recognition Award. The plant produces wiring systems. The award ceremony was held in Lafayette, Ind., which is the location of the Subaru-Isuzu manufacturing facility.
