Autobytel.com Expands DealerSites(TM) Into International Arena
DealerSites to Offer Multi-National Website Management,
                           Development, and Hosting

    IRVINE, Calif., June 5 Autobytel.com , the
global leader in automotive e-commerce, announced today that it will export
the company's branded website technology and content to automotive dealerships
worldwide. Through its web management and development division,
DealerSites(TM), Autobytel.com will first offer customized websites to dealers
in the UK and Canada, and then Europe. DealerSites currently hosts
customizable websites for over 1,000 dealer franchises.
"An Internet site is a dealership's showroom window on the web," said Glen
A. Caffey, Vice President and General Manager of Autobytel.com's DealerSites
division. "We believe that every dealer should have a customizable and
cost-effective 'web window' that reflects the dealership's unique personality.
Cookie-cutter websites and four colored Internet classified ads do not help
dealers reach the Internet consumer."
Backed by Autobytel.com's award-winning Advanced Technology Department,
DealerSites has the ability to offer dealerships the opportunity to showcase
their stores through Internet technologies that are not available from any
other large scale automotive web provider. "Autobytel.com has continued to
lead by combining its technology expertise with its deep understanding of the
dealership business. We believe that this is why we have been recognized as
number one in dealer satisfaction for three years in a row and why DealerSites
has proven to be so successful," said Caffey. "DealerSites' dealers know what
is the most effective way to reach their consumers, our job is to provide them
with the tools. We put our expertise to work to truly put dealers in control
of their websites."
Autobytel.com's DealerSites web solutions allow dealers to incorporate
individual colors, graphics and style and to modify web pages. Using
proprietary DealerSites' technology, dealers can automatically list, price and
modify their new and used vehicle inventory, including digital pictures; list
their entire parts inventory; advertise seasonal specials and promotions;
schedule service appointments; and book car rental reservations. In addition,
DealerSites provides dealerships with the ability to easily design online
sales, service and parts coupons with simple point and click processes.
Dealers who participate in the DealerSites' web management program will
also be able to offer customers a full library of new car model information,
including vehicle specifications, pictures and reviews. One of the unique
DealerSites features is an extensive online service department where customers
can request quotes for repair work and schedule service appointments at the
dealership.
