Digital Chrome Meets Sheet Metal;Virtual Super Summit VIII Car Show to be Held Simultaneously with Real Car Show TALLMADGE, Ohio, June 2 While more than 10,000 people are attending the annual Super Summit car show in Tallmadge, Ohio, June 9 and 10, many more will be participating for the first time on the Internet. Thousands of people are expected to show up to see hundreds of show cars and trucks on display at Super Summit VIII, to be held Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10 at Summit Racing world headquarters in Tallmadge, Ohio. At the same time, a virtual car show will be held on Summit Racing's web site at http://www.SummitRacing.com . Presented by cable sports network ESPN2, Super Summit VIII will have muscle cars, street rods, and customized trucks on display from a dozen states. Summit Racing's professional racers will be there, signing autographs and displaying their race cars. The virtual Super Summit VIII will be held on Summit Racing's web site at http://www.SummitRacing.com/webcast/super_summit . Car owners from around the world who cannot attend the "real" show can still participate by entering their car using an on-line entry form and uploading a picture. Web site visitors will vote on the best car entered in the virtual show. There will be live coverage of the "real" Super Summit VIII car show, and racing fans can post questions for Summit Racing's professional race car drivers to answer. The "real" Super Summit VIII is free and open to the public. Hours are 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, and 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturday. Summit Racing is located on Interstate 76 at Exit 29 in Tallmadge, Ohio. The virtual Super Summit VIII will begin Friday and will run 24 hours a day through the weekend.
