DaimlerChrysler Corporation Reports U.S. and Canadian Assembly Plant Schedule for Week of June 5, 2000

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., June 1 DaimlerChrysler Corporation
reports all nine U.S. assembly plants and all three Canadian assembly plants
will operate the week of June 5, 2000.
    Belvidere (IL) will operate two eight-and-a-half-hour shifts weekdays and
two eight-hour shifts Saturday, June 3.  Conner Ave. (MI) will operate one
eight-hour shift weekdays.  Sterling Heights (MI) will operate two eight-hour
shifts weekdays and two eight-hour shifts Saturday, June 3.  Dodge City
Complex-Warren Truck (MI), St. Louis-North (Fenton, MO) and St. Louis-South
(Fenton, MO) will operate two nine-hour shifts weekdays and two eight-hour
shifts Saturday, June 3.  Jefferson-North (Detroit, MI) will operate three
seven-hour shifts weekdays.  Newark (DE) will operate two eight-hour shifts
weekdays.  Toledo (OH) will operate two eight-hour shifts weekdays and two
eight-hour shifts Saturday, June 3.
    In Ontario, Canada, Bramalea and Windsor will operate three seven-and-a-
half-hour shifts weekdays.  Pillette will operate two eight-hour shifts
weekdays.
