Lear Corporation Appoints William C. Dircks Assistant Corporate ControllerSOUTHFIELD, Mich., June 1 Lear Corporation today announced the appointment of William C. Dircks as Assistant Corporate Controller, reporting to Lear Vice President and Corporate Controller, David C. Wajsgras. (Photo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20000601/DETH041 ) In his new role, Dircks is responsible for the accounting, financial reporting and financial systems of the company. Dircks joins Lear from Honeywell International in Morristown, N.J., where he was Corporate Finance Director for Enterprise Resource Planning. During his five years with Honeywell, he held various senior financial positions in the company's aerospace and automotive businesses. He was previously employed by Price Waterhouse in New York and Tokyo, Japan. Dircks earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Manhattan College in New York and is a Certified Public Accountant. He and his wife, Robin, have four children and reside in Novi, Mich.
