Infiniti Reports May Sales

Infiniti Reports Record-Breaking Sales of I30 and QX4
CARSON, Calif., June 1 Boosted by record-breaking sales of
the I30 and the QX4, Infiniti, the luxury division of Nissan North America
(NNA), reported total May sales of 6,952, a 30 percent increase versus last
year.
The 2000 I30 saw its best May ever with sales of 3,320 units, a 60%
increase over last year, while the QX4 with its new, more powerful engine,
also enjoyed record sales for May of 2,092 a 48% increase over last year.
Combined sales for Nissan and Infiniti Divisions totaled 67,701, an
increase of 11.5 percent over last year.
Other division achievements include:
-- G20 sales of 1,196 units, an 11 percent increase versus last month
-- Infiniti's flagship vehicle, the Q 45, posted sales of 344 units.
