Smithers Tire and Automotive Testing is Accredited to ISO/IEC Guide 25-19000

    RAVENNA, Ohio, May 31 Smithers Tire & Automotive Testing
(STAT), a division of Smithers Scientific Services Inc., has been accredited
by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) to ISO/IEC
Guide 25-19000 standards to conduct a variety of tests on vehicles and
automotive components and systems.
    STAT operates two automotive proving grounds -- one in Pecos, Texas, and
the other near Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. It also has indoor tire and wheel
testing capabilities at company laboratories in Ravenna, Ohio, and provides a
wide range of on- and off-site testing services, custom tailored to specific
customer needs.
