Aura Expands User Base for AuraGen
EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--May 31, 2000--AURA SYSTEMS, INC. (OTCBB:AURA) announces the expansion of its user base for AuraGen, the company's under the hood 5 KW generator system.Recently a number of new municipalities started to use the AuraGen thus increasing the number of city users of the AuraGen across the country to over 30. Recent users include North Las Vegas, Nev.; Montecito, Lakewood, and Foster City in California; Ft. Worth, Texas; Lake Worth, Fla., and Raleigh Durham in North Carolina.
In addition, the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service (AFRTS) has recently purchased AuraGens for their use. The AFRTS mission is to communicate Department of Defense policies, priorities, programs, goals and initiatives; provide U.S. television and radio news, information and entertainment programming to Department of Defense service members, civilians and their families overseas and onboard U.S. Navy ships.
The AuraGen Mobile Generator system is engine driven and capable of providing 5,000 Watts of continuous, pure sine wave, 60 Hz, 120/240 VAC power for operating any type of equipment in combination, from the most sensitive digital computer to the most brute force compressor. The system provides the same quality of electrical power whether the vehicle is stationary or mobile. Commercial end-users include utility companies, communications companies, state, local and federal agencies, among others, on a variety of vehicles.
