WTA Asian Appointment

    EL CAJON, Calif.--May 30, 2000--Composite Automobile Research Ltd. (OTC BB:CARH) (POH:Frankfurt), through it's wholly owned subsidiary World Transport Authority (WTA) is pleased to announce that in conjunction with senior officials of the company returning from China and the Philippines, the following appointment is to be made. Effective immediately, John Frederick Tidy has been appointed to the position of Vice-President Asian Operations.
    Mr. Tidy's education includes degrees from both Southhampton University/England as well as Alicante University/Spain. Mr. Tidy brings over 25 years of worldwide fiberglass and composite material manufacturing experience to WTA. During the course of his career, he has held senior management positions with several well-known companies involved in the production and sale of high quality fiberglass/composite products. Customers of finished products include companies such as British Airlines, Merrill Lynch, Tullet of Tokyo, Japan as well as the Royal Mail (post office, England) to name a few. Most recently, Mr. Tidy has been President and Owner of Matrix Export Corporation of Bepz, Philippines, a company that in addition to a very diverse product line in the fiberglass/composite field makes auto body parts for Porsche automobiles. Mr. John Tidy will work closely with John Woolley, newly appointed Chief Technical Officer for WTA to insure the overall quality of product production as well as the training of personnel worldwide for WTA.
    WTA Chairman and CEO Lyle Wardrop stated. "With the anticipated ramp-up of our operations in the Asian marketplace, we feel very fortunate that we have been able to add an individual such as John Tidy to our team. It is incumbent upon ourselves, by way of recent due diligence conducted in the Asian region to be able to be in a position to expand our operations quickly, without compromising the quality of our product. With the addition of John Tidy who will be based in the region, we feel that those objectives can be met."
    Composite Automobile Research Ltd. and World Transport Authority Inc. serve the emerging world's transportation needs through in country manufacturing facilities, utilizing local semi-skilled labor to produce the WorldStar(R)line of utility vehicles.
