DaimlerChrysler Corporation Reports U.S. and Canadian Assembly Plant Schedule for Week of May 29, 2000

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., May 25 DaimlerChrysler Corporation
reports all nine U.S. assembly plants and all three Canadian assembly plants
will operate the week of May 29, 2000.
    Belvidere (IL) will operate two eight-and-a-half-hour shifts weekdays.
Conner Ave. (MI), will operate one eight-hour shift weekdays.  Sterling
Heights (MI), Dodge City Complex-Warren Truck (MI), St. Louis-North (Fenton,
MO) and St. Louis-South (Fenton, MO) will operate two nine-hour shifts
weekdays.  Jefferson-North (Detroit, MI) will operate three seven-hour shifts
weekdays.  Newark (DE) and Toledo (OH) will operate two eight-hour shifts
weekdays.
    In Ontario, Canada, Bramalea and Windsor will operate three seven-and-a-
half-hour shifts weekdays.  Pillette will operate two eight-hour shifts
weekdays.
