EtQ Solutions Quality and Environmental Systems Automation Software Now Web-Compatible for Electronic Delivery
FARMINGDALE, N.Y., May 24 EtQ Inc., announces that select
modules of their EtQ Solutions Quality and Environmental Systems Automation
Software are now web-compatible (Explorer(R), Netscape(R) 4.7) for electronic
delivery. Employees, suppliers and customers can use
internet/intranet/extranet options to enter and transmit information,
participate in the process, and minimize the demands on their support
resources. This feature makes it simple and secure to share knowledge
throughout operations, as well as with customers, vendors and off-site
personnel.
EtQ Solutions integrates with most e-mail systems. Automatic email
notification is used extensively to notify assigned users, remind late users
(escalation), and copy affected users (e.g. during document distribution).
E-mail notification uses Domino's standard e-mail engine to deliver the e-mail
with a DocLink or URL to the relevant document.
EtQ Solutions modules that are currently web-compatible include Document
Control, Corrective/Preventive Action and APQP (Advance Product Quality
Planning). The remainder of the modules will be web-compatible by September
2000 in EtQ Solutions R5 release. EtQ Solutions R5 release will be the first
totally web-compatible, flexible workflow product on the market. Users and
administrators will be able to use, manage and customize the application with
only a web browser.
Compatible with any platform supported by a Domino server (i.e., NT(R),
OS/400(R), UNIX, etc.), EtQ Solutions is an out-of-the-box, flexible workflow
software for automating many of the paper and resource intensive processes
associated with quality and environmental management. EtQ Solutions comes
completely setup to work out-of-the-box, but it also allows users to define
the steps in their process and build their own forms, reports and applications
as needed-without programming. The software also allows for seamless upgrades
that do not corrupt power user customizations.

ISO/QS-9000/ISO 14000 and similar standards for quality and environmental
management: All the documents/forms, data collection, approval, analysis,

and other databases, enabling users to standardize on a tool that
