FleetPride Acquires Fleet Parts Warehouse of Louisiana, Inc.

    DEERFIELD, Ill.--May 23, 2000--FleetPride, the nation's largest aftermarket distributor of heavy-duty truck parts, today announced the acquisition of Fleet Parts Warehouse of Louisiana, located in Baton Rouge. With the addition of Fleet Parts Warehouse, FleetPride now has operations in 33 states and a location in England.
    FleetPride now operates more than 170 locations nationwide with revenues in excess of $550 million. The company carries a full line of nationally recognized brand name parts as well as a private brand assortment. In addition, FleetPride offers in-house re-manufactured products such as brake shoes, transmissions, rear axles and driveline components. Truck and trailer repair services also are offered at a number of locations.
    John Greisch, President and CEO of FleetPride said of the acquisition, "Fleet Parts Warehouse is an important entry into the state of Louisiana. There is a tremendous amount of intermodal activity in Louisiana, and the addition of Fleet Parts Warehouse gives us a strong foothold into these markets."
    Fleet Parts Warehouse will begin their transition to the FleetPride name immediately.
