Leading Automotive Associations Join eAutoWorld Conference
Automotive Industry Leaders to Gather in Chicago June 19-21

RICHMOND, Va., May 23 The profound impact of the Internet
and e-commerce on all aspects of the automotive market has attracted eight of
the industry's leading associations to participate in the upcoming eAutoWorld
conference, a forum devoted to examining the use of new technologies to
advance the industry.
Associations sponsoring eMarketWorld.com's eAutoWorld conference include
American Iron and Steel Institute, Automotive Aftermarket Industry
Association, Automotive Body Parts Association, Detroit New Media Association,
Internet Auto Dealers Marketing Association, Motor Equipment & Manufacturers
Association, Original Equipment Suppliers Association, and Specialty Equipment
Market Association.
"The broad range of people, interests and activity in the auto industry
that the sponsoring associations represent is indicative of the profound
impact the Internet is having, and will continue to have on the business from
top to bottom," said Greg Colizzi, vice president of eAutoWorld at
eMarketWorld.com. "The goal of eAutoWorld to help transform the automotive
vision of today into tomorrow's reality is greatly enhanced with participation
from a wide variety of industry organizations. We look forward to the
educational, discussion and networking opportunities these associations bring
to eAutoWorld."
The Internet is transforming the way cars are planned, built, bought,
sold, paid for, serviced and modified. Participants at eAutoWorld will focus
on how the auto industry will retool in order to leverage Internet
technologies and the electronic marketplace -- from streamlining the supply
chain to reaching consumers.
eAutoWorld will take place from June 19-21, 2000 at the Hyatt Regency
Hotel in Chicago. Registration for the show is $1,295, which includes
admission for more than 60 presentations and workshops and the exposition
floor, featuring displays from 75 companies. To register for eAutoWorld, or
