The rain kept Rose from testing the car during the qualifying laps on Saturday for Sunday's race. "We made the decision to start last because we were not sure what the car would do once it was on the track," Rose said. "We didn't want to cause any problems before the race even started." Rose finished in 18th position, completing all 50 laps and only hitting pit row once under a caution flag to make some minor adjustments. In his second year of racing in the Late Model Stock Car Division of NASCAR, Rose is quickly developing a reputation as a driver who will soon be a consistent presence in the winner's circle. Rose's next race is at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Nashville Speedway USA. Racing Rose, Inc. based in Bowling Green, Kentucky was formed in 1999.
