SupplySolution Hires Chris Moritz as COO
    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 22 SupplySolution, Inc.,
(headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA) providers of Internet based application
services to the automotive supplier community, has hired Chris Moritz as Chief
Operating Officer.  Moritz started at SupplySolution on April 28th, 2000.  His
main directive is to continue the work to build a world-class team and execute
on delivering mission critical solutions for the fast growing Internet
company.  SupplySolution, formed in 1998, markets its flagship service,
i-Supply(TM) to buyers and sellers within in the automotive supply chain.
i-Supply is an Internet-based service that creates efficiencies throughout the
automotive supply chain by improving the ordering, inventory and supplier
management processes.  The subscription-based service was developed to allow
real-time communication and collaboration to dramatically reduce component
inventories and administrative costs.
    Moritz shared his core reasons for joining SupplySolution at a recent
strategic planning session.  "Most automotive suppliers are exploring how to
use the Internet to run mission critical applications in order to be more
responsive to their customers.  If companies are not driving an aggressive
e-commerce strategy, they will not be competitive in the future," expressed
Moritz.
    "Future company brands will be built on their ability to deliver value to
their customers and business partners on the Internet.  SupplySolution has
formulated its business model on this premise.  I believe SSI is well
positioned to be the dominant provider of collaborative supply chain Internet
services in the automotive marketplace."  SupplySolution is quickly gaining
recognition in the automotive and heavy truck/equipment industries for being

direct material fulfillment service working today.
    Chris Moritz joins SupplySolution Inc. (SSI) with a wide variety of
leadership positions in the manufacturing technology industry.  Prior to SSI,
Moritz was the President of Knightsbridge Technology Partners.  Cadence Design
Systems recruited Moritz in 1997 where he built their consulting practice from
the ground up.  In 1995, Chris was selected by Oracle to launch their
Automotive Consulting Practice.  Moritz started his career at EDS where he
built three separate consulting practices and was responsible for sales,
product marketing, product management, and overall P & L.  Moritz holds
degrees in Political Science and Business Finance from UC Riverside.
    Also added to the management team at SupplySolution is Al Salerno, VP of
Industry Marketing and Paul Barden, Director of Professional Services.  Al
Salerno brings over 20 years of experience in providing business solutions to
the Automotive Industry.  Prior to SupplySolution, Inc., Salerno was the
Director, Automotive Worldwide Sales & Marketing for J.D. Edwards.  In 1997,
Salerno was the Director of Automotive Industry Strategy for PeopleSoft.  In
1980, Salerno formed Salerno Manufacturing Systems and grew it over the next
17 years to be a leading provider of manufacturing quality management
applications and services to the automotive, electronics, and aerospace
industries.  He sold his business to PeopleSoft in 1997.
    Paul Barden, Director of Professional Services, is responsible for all
aspects of SSI customers implementing, supporting, and using the B2B
solutions.  For five years prior to SupplySolution, Barden was the Manager of
Automotive Consulting for SAP.  From 1990 - 1995, Barden was the VP of Client
Services for Lou Wright and Associates, an ERP implementation firm.  Barden's
earliest career years were spent working for several automotive suppliers.
Barden has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Michigan State University
and is CPIM certified from APICS.
