Thrifty Car Rental Joins Delta SkyMiles(R) Program & Celebrates With Double Miles

    TULSA, Okla., May 22 Thrifty Car Rental announced today it
would kick off its brand-new frequent flyer partnership with Delta Air Lines
by offering SkyMiles(R) members double miles on rentals beginning June 1, 2000
through August 14, 2000.
    Airport-arriving SkyMiles members who rent from Thrifty airport locations
worldwide will receive 100 SkyMiles for each qualifying rental day up to
14 days -- twice the usual fifty per day.  For rentals exceeding 14 days, the
mileage award is 50 miles per rental day after the 14th day.  The car must be
picked up during the promotional period.  Certain other limitations may apply.
    "Thrifty's relationship with Delta is one that we are very excited about,"
said Brian Carpenter, Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Advertising for
Thrifty.  "Our partnership with Delta helps us reinforce our geographic
coverage of frequent flyer programs in the Southeastern U.S., including key
markets like Atlanta and Orlando.  At the same time, Thrifty will provide
SkyMiles members with a strong value choice in the car rental segment.  It's a
win for all parties."
    Delta SkyMiles members also have the opportunity to earn miles when they
park at participating Thrifty Car Rental airport locations that offer parking.
Customers can earn 250 miles when they park three times at the same U.S.
Thrifty parking facility within a one-year period.

    Delta SkyMiles members earn mileage by flying Delta, the Delta Connection
