NHRA FMDRS: Rain and Thunderstorms was out Friday Qualifying at Hallsville

     HALLSVILLE RACEWAY, Hallsville, Texas - The lightning, thunder, and
rain made its way to Hallsville Raceway at about 3:30 a.m. and has not
stopped since.  NHRA South Central Division Director, Craig Hutchingson,
called the race at 10:30 a.m. and rescheduled a full day of qualifying for
Saturday.

     Qualifying and time trials will resume on Saturday at 9 a.m. 
Federal-Mogul Dragster and Federal-Mogul Funny Car will run at 1 p.m. and 4
p.m. Gates will open at 7 a.m.
