DaimlerChrysler Corporation Reports U.S. and Canadian Assembly Plant Schedule for Week of May 22, 2000

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., May 18 DaimlerChrysler Corporation
reports all nine U.S. assembly plants and all three Canadian assembly plants
will operate the week of May 22, 2000.
    Belvidere (IL) will operate two eight-and-a-half-hour shifts weekdays and
two eight-hour shifts Saturday, May 20.  Conner Ave. (MI) will operate one
eight-hour shift weekdays.  Sterling Heights (MI) and Dodge City Complex-
Warren Truck (MI) will operate two nine-hour shifts weekdays and two eight-
hour shifts Saturday, May 20.  Jefferson-North (Detroit, MI) will operate
three seven-hour shifts weekdays.  Newark (DE) and Toledo (OH) will operate
two eight-hour shifts weekdays.  St. Louis-North (Fenton, MO) and St. Louis-
South (Fenton, MO) will operate two nine-hour shifts weekdays.
    In Ontario, Canada, Bramalea and Windsor will operate three seven-and-a-
half-hour shifts weekdays.  Pillette will operate two eight-hour shifts
weekdays.
