Industry Veteran John Kamlowsky Named Vice President Of Key Accounts at TireDex.com
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., May 18 TireDex.com, the leading
global electronic marketplace specific to the tire and wheel industry, today
announced the appointment of John Kamlowsky as its Vice President of Key
Accounts.
Mr. Kamlowsky brings more than 25 years experience to TireDex.com, having
held executive officer and top industry purchasing agent roles with Sears
Automotive (Sears Auto Centers/NTB), Tire Kingdom, Tire America, Western Auto
and NTW. His past responsibilities have included negotiating the purchase of
over 12.5 million tires and over 6 million batteries annually.
"John [Kamlowsky] possesses a wealth of industry contacts, knowledge, and
relationships which will significantly benefit the growth of TireDex," said
Terence Scheckter, TireDex.com CEO. "He is yet another invaluable addition to
our powerful team of key industry players."
In the newly structured post, Mr. Kamlowsky will develop the integration
of key accounts into the overall TireDex.com sales and marketing strategy.
"In all my years in this industry, I have faced every challenge that could
exist between manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers around the globe who
are trying to conduct business," said Kamlowsky. "This is the best business
model I've witnessed. The fact that TireDex -- by far the oldest and largest
tire/wheel exchange -- remains neutral and looks out for the interests of both
buyers and sellers is resulting in win-win situation for everyone in the
business."
Kamlowsky's hiring coincides with TireDex.com's total inventory listing
topping the $20 million mark, a number that is expected to increase
dramatically prior to the mid-June launch of the second-generation TireDex.com
website.
TireDex.com, Inc. operates the first real-time, neutral, global electronic
exchange for tires and wheels. TireDex provides more than 1,600 tire and
wheel manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers across 64 countries the
opportunity to trade inventory in a faster, more efficient and cost-effective
manner than is available in the offline market today. Joining TireDex.com is
