CARH Appoints Chief Technical Officer

    EL CAJON, Calif.--May 18, 2000--Composite Automobile Research Ltd. (OTCBB:CARH)(POH:Frankfurt), through its wholly-owned subsidiary World Transport Authority Inc. (WTA) Thursday announced the appointment of K. Kent Woolley to the position of chief technical officer, effective May 15, 2000.
    Woolley brings more than 42 years of automotive, automotive competition and commercial passenger related experience to WTA. Included in his experience are 35 years dedicated to the design of vehicles and vehicle systems design as well as prototype construction and testing. During the course of his career, Woolley has worked on a variety of product development and high performance component programs for companies including General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Honda, Nissan, Cosworth and others.
    Additionally, Woolley has been responsible for the successful design, development and manufacturing of several proprietary products that were highly successful in the marketplace. Most recently, prior to coming on board with WTA, Woolley spent five years as an award-winning instructor at Art Center College of Design, the world's leading automotive design college.
    WTA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Lyle Wardrop stated, "Kent is a qualified designer, mechanic, machinist and tool maker with practical hands-on experience with a wide range of tools and equipment including computer numerical control (CNC) machinery and mechanical computer aided engineering (MCAE) design.     Woolley's responsibilities at WTA will entail all engineering and design specifications relating to the WorldStar vehicle as it presently exists and to implement any and all improvements as required for specialized licensee requirements. Additionally and most importantly, it will be his responsibility for the training of all Master License Holders, Licensee's and related personnel, to insure that the highest quality and standards are maintained throughout the WTA organization.
    Composite Automobile Research LTD and World Transport Authority Inc. serve the emerging world's transportation needs through in country manufacturing facilities, utilizing local semi-skilled labour to produce the WorldStar line of utility vehicles.
