Aura Starts Shipments of AuraGen for GM Goodwrench Mobile Service Program
EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--May 17, 2000--Aura Systems Inc. (OTC:AURA) today announced that it has started shipment of its AuraGen(R) product to support the GM Goodwrench Mobile Service Program.This program is designed to extend GM service to the homes and businesses of customers, by providing the GM dealer a van with many of the capabilities of the dealership service bay. GM is offering a number of vehicle options, all of which will include the AuraGen.
The AuraGen has been widely displayed by GM at a variety of Auto Shows as part of the new GMC Terradyne Concept Truck and on the GMC Sierra Professional Concept Truck. Kurtzman, Aura's chief executive officer, said, "All of us at Aura are proud of the AuraGen, its imbedded technology and performance.
"The use of the AuraGen in the GM Goodwrench Mobile Service Program as well as the recent comments about the product from the Army (see the Aura Web site) is a significant acknowledgement of our efforts.
