Budd's Greening Donald Subsidiary to Add 150 Jobs

    TROY, Mich., May 16 The Budd Company announced today that
its Greening Donald Co. Ltd. subsidiary in Orangeville, Ontario will nearly
double its employment this year as a result of expanding its airbag component
product line.
    Greening Donald has made a multi-million dollar purchase of equipment to
produce diffuser filters for airbag inflator assemblies.  The company will
continue to produce the wire cloth for the filters.
    "This is an excellent opportunity to improve our capabilities within the
vital airbag industry," said Larry Fort, Greening Donald president.
    An additional 150 jobs at the company, which currently employs 174, should
be in place by the end of the year.
