Kevin Feeney Joins Allied Holdings as Vice President, Corporate Communications
    DECATUR, Ga., May 15 Allied Holdings, Inc.
announced today that Kevin A. Feeney has joined the organization as vice
president, Corporate Communications, effective May 15, 2000.
    Feeney will be responsible for the corporate communications activities of
Allied Holdings and its subsidiaries.  These areas include employee
communications, publications, public relations, investor relations and media
relations.  He will report to Randall E. West, president and chief operating
officer, Allied Holdings.
    Feeney has over 20 years of corporate communications experience and has
spent the majority of his career with Alumax and its predecessor company AMAX.
He was also previously vice president of public relations for a Midwestern-
based agency.  Feeney holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Rowan
University and a master's degree in public relations from Ball State
University.  He is accredited by the International Association of Business
Communicators.
