Shasta RVs Praised in National Consumer Magazine
Ultra Flite Travel Trailer and Sprite Motorhome Earn 'Best Buy' Status

ELKHART, Ind., May 15 The editors of Consumers Digest have
recognized two Shasta Industries' products in their June issue as having
outstanding value for today's consumer. The Shasta Ultra Flite, a lightweight
travel trailer, and Sprite, a class C motorhome, were named consumer "Best
Buys."
"We are pleased and proud Consumers Digest honored our company with this
special designation," stated Robert J. Adasiak, Shasta President. "Developing
products that meet the needs of today's value-conscious consumers is always a
primary focus at Shasta."
The June issue of Consumers Digest is its recreation equipment-buying
guide. The magazine offers information about this equipment to steer readers
past some of the roadblocks that might arise during the buying process.
Consumers Digest publishes its recreation equipment-buying guide every two to
three years.
A Consumers Digest "Best Buy" is a nationally available product that the
magazine has identified as a great value in the marketplace, one that merits
special attention from consumers. Consumers Digest defines value as a simple
equation: perceived quality divided by cost.
The Sprite was touted for offering "all the basics at a reasonable price."
Consumers Digest writers also suggested, "Driving is easier than with most,
and the option list is long enough to allow buyers to indulge."
Also acknowledged for its economy, the Ultra Flite travel trailer offers
all the necessities for comfortable camping at an affordable price. Available
in 13 different floor plans ranging in length from 19 to 26 feet, the Ultra
Flite model that caught the attention of Consumers Digest was the 2517.
Writers noted the standard features on the travel trailer, which include a
double bed with overhead bunk, foam mattresses, a full kitchen and a full dry
bath.
